The Yarraville Residence is simple in appearance consisting of large precast concrete and timber rectilinear volumes. The internal spaces further create a sense of largeness and openness through a sunken living quarters on ground floor and a grand triple storey void housing the dwelling’s staircase.
Another beautiful feature of the residence is the intersection of the lap pool with the void creating a real sense of the outdoors invading into the indoors both formally, materially and experientially. The dwelling is finished off with a rooftop bar and terrace that includes integrated bench seating to capture the breathtaking views of the CBD skyline.
