The simple methodology of stacking volumes and twisting their tops has been used to create 3 unique townhouses in Oakleigh, Victoria.
Although they all share a common ground floor volume, their first floor volumes through the twisting of their tops pointing toward important civic buildings and monuments of the suburb create a really interesting design outcome.
Furthermore through volumetric push and pull techniques along with contrasting cladding materials and colours help create a sense of depth and perspective as well as to assist with passive thermal design.
