This renovation project in Footscray included the addition of a timber shiplap clad single car garage and fence at the side/rear of the existing heritage zoned property. The stained timber cladding blends in beautifully with the 150 year old existing red brick walls, creating a sense of the new working with as opposed to against the old.
In between the garage and the dwelling is a small astro turf garden, creating a simple and elegant transition between the two structures.
