Designed and built by Strength Group, the Keysborough Residence is home to one of Strength Group’s co-founders.
Minimalist in form, this house utilises efficient space planning, functionality and simplicity. Although seemingly narrow, the house organizes its living and resting zones effectively without compromising space. Passive thermal principles have been incorporated into the design and allow the living spaces to capture northern sunlight whilst windows are appropriately located to maximize cross-flow ventilation.
Four distinct materials have been utilized in the design. These are concrete brickwork, metal cladding, foam and render and timber highlights. The materials create a sense of interplay resulting in a bespoke design
